Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our ballet classes

Am I too old to start ballet?

Absolutely not! Our adult ballet classes welcome beginners from 17 to 75. Many students started in their 30s, 40s, and beyond.

How do I get to the studio?

We're in Liverpool city centre (L1), about a 5-minute walk from Lime Street Station. Parking is nearby at Q-Park Victoria Street and Liverpool ONE.

What if I'm not flexible?

Perfect! Classes are designed to build flexibility safely over time. No experience required—beginners are very welcome.

Can I join mid-term?

Yes. We run year-round so you can join anytime. Flexible booking and drop-in options make it easy to start in Liverpool.

Do I need ballet shoes straight away?

Not for your first class—socks are fine. When you're ready, pick up ballet shoes from dancewear shops on Bold Street or order online.

How often should I attend?

Start with one class per week, then build to two as you progress. Many students combine ballet with other styles for variety.

Are there male ballet dancers?

Yes! Men are welcome. Several male students enjoy the strength and athletic side of ballet training.

What about performances?

Completely optional. We host annual showcases at local venues such as the Philharmonic Hall, but there's never pressure to perform.

Which areas do students come from?

Students join us from across Merseyside—Wirral, Crosby, Formby, West Derby, Wavertree, and Aigburth. Our city-centre location is easy to reach by train, bus, or car.

What makes your studio different?

We specialise in adult beginner ballet in Liverpool city centre. Unlike schools focused on children, our classes are designed for adults starting or returning to ballet.
